Scoop_CS34 Update
Scoop_CS34 v4.1 fixes a problem with reset modification dates on collected, linked files and incorporates the Mac OS X 10.5 bug fix described below.
It is recommended for all Illustrator CS3 and CS4 users.
To Install 4.1
 Download and UnStuff the Scoop_v41.sit file.
Download Scoop_CS34

Remove the current Scoop plug-in from your Illustrator Plug-ins folder (It‘s in your Illustrator Application folder).

Drag the new Scoop_CS34 v4.1 (Scoop_CS34.aip) into your Plug-ins folder.

That‘s it. The next time Illustrator is launched, you should see v4.1 in the lower right cormer of the Scoop dialog box. You will not need to re-enter your activation key.

A potentially serious bug in Scoop_CS3 running on Mac OSX 10.5.x has been identified.
This update is recommended for all users on any OS version on both Intel and PPC Macs.

It can result in Illustrator document corruption when a user on a Mac running OS X version 10.5.x chooses to:
  • Save a copy of the Illustrator document in the Scoop folder AND
  • Chooses to update links in the copy to the collected images AND
  • Chooses the Image Folder Save Option AND
  • Accepts the default name for the Image Folder

If you encounter this problem, the Illustrator document CAN be recovered.

To Install 4.1
 Download and UnStuff the Scoop_v41.sit file.
Download Scoop_CS3 4.1

Remove the Scoop_CS3 v4.0 plug-in from your Illustrator Plug-ins folder (It‘s in your Illustrator Application folder). Trash the v4.0 version to avoid risk of it being inadvertantly reinstalled in the future.

Drag the new Scoop_CS34 v4.1 (Scoop_CS34.aip) into your Plug-ins folder.

That‘s it. The next time Illustrator is launched, you should see v4.1 in the lower right cormer of the Scoop dialog box. You will not need to re-enter your activation key.
